FAQ

  • Where do I log on to the conference portal?

Please click the links to our web portal or the Whova mobile app here.

How should I bring my presentation and multimedia? If you are presenting at Hoxton Hall, please bring along your presentation on a laptop, and a USB stick as a backup.

At all other venues, please bring along your presentation on a USB Stick saved as a PowerPoint file; our team will then transfer the file to a shared common computer. If you have video, make sure it is embedded.

If you are a Mac user and you have made your presentation using Keynote, make sure to save the file as a PowerPoint file. If your presentation includes video, please embed the video into your slide deck if possible.

**Make sure to arrive 15 mins before your session begins to prepare any AV**

How do participants join sessions remotely?

Sessions that are tagged as hybrid or online-only can be joined remotely.

Before the conference, we will send out a Zoom link to a shared waiting room; once in the waiting room, you will be able to select the session you would like to join from a list of breakout sessions. There will be a PSi #29 team member in the waiting room to help with the process.

I’m looking for accommodation, do you have any advice on where to stay?

Please see this short guide for advice on local hotels and getting around the city.

Will there be a post-conference publication?

Yes! PSi’s Global Performance Studies (GPS) journal will hold a callout for submissions for the ‘ASSEMBLE’ issue after the conference. The journal will be presented at a future PSi conference.
